| Purpose | (Clinical Focus: This value set contains concepts that represent estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) tests.),(Data Element Scope: This value set may use Quality Data Model (QDM) category related to Laboratory Test. The codification of eGFR is complicated in that there are multiple equations used for the estimate, and some codified terms are used for reporting pre-coordinate age, gender, race, etc. This value set is intended for a wide range so as to bind to all possible reasonable estimates of eGFR.
