DescriptionThis value set is used to calculate OP-10 (Abdomen Computed Tomography (CT)—Use of Contrast Material), a claims-based measure used in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Hospital Outpatient Quality Reporting (HOQR) Program. In calculation of OP-10, diagnoses of liver lesion (mass or neoplasm) must appear on the abdomen CT claim to be excluded from the measure’s initial patient population.
Purpose(Clinical Focus: This set of values contains ICD-10 codes associated with secondary malignant neoplasm of the liver and intrahepatic bile duct.),(Data Element Scope: The intent of the data is to identify patients with a secondary malignant neoplasm of the liver and intrahepatic bile duct.),(Inclusion Criteria: ICD-10 codes associated with secondary malignant neoplasm of the liver and intrahepatic bile duct are included in this value set.),(Exclusion Criteria: Primary malignant neoplasms of the liver and intrahepatic bile duct and malignant neoplasms that are not associated with the liver, or those captured in systems other than ICD-10, are excluded from the value set.)
